John (Jack) Connell is a native of Manchester, N.H. who moved to Salem with his family at the age of twelve. After graduating from Bishop Bradley High School in Manchester, Connell began his career in media at WMUR-TV while still in high school. He furthered his education at the Massachusetts Radio School in Boston to obtain his First Class FCC License.
Connell's career in radio took off as he worked at various stations before becoming Supervisor at CBS WEEL All NEWS Radio. After 20 years in the industry, he transitioned to a role as Director of Engineering at WEEI, where he developed his own Digital Computer Touchscreen Radio Station Control System and automation, ultimately founding Media Touch Systems in 1985 and obtaining a patent for his groundbreaking system in 2000.
Aside from business with Visionary Technology (6,101,324), Connell has been active in his community, building and renovating houses around Arlington Pond in Salem and dedicating himself to enforcing his patent. Now, Connell is bringing his wealth of experience and innovative spirit to the political arena as he runs for state representative in Salem, NH. With a proven track record of success and a commitment to serving his community, Connell is dedicated to making positive change and progress in his district.
